EMA Partners India Ltd, a global leader in executive search and leadership advisory, is pleased to announce the appointment of Deepu Chandran, as Partner- Technology & Start-up Ecosystem. In this role, Deepu will work closely with our teams and clients to deepen our engagement across the technology, digital, and start-up landscape, and help us build stronger bridges between founders, investors, and leadership talent across the region.
Deepu is a known entrepreneur in the Indian start-up ecosystem and was founder of both Pikkol and Hackle, where he built and scaled businesses ground up. His journey spans venture creation, product thinking, and scaling operations, as well as working closely with investors and co-founders through multiple stages of growth; giving him a distinctive, operator-led perspective on leadership and technology-driven businesses.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey over 15 years ago, Deepu gained early professional experience with Adani Wilmar and Larsen & Toubro. He is an engineer from REC Calicut and an alumnus of IIM Bangalore. A familiar and respected face within the IIM Bangalore alumni community, Deepu currently serves as their Vice President and Trustee, reflecting his continued engagement with the institution and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.
