Gaurav Agnihotri has joined Waaree Clean Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Waaree Group, as Head – Business Development, marking a significant step forward for the company’s ambitions in the Green Hydrogen space. With over two decades of experience in energy and sustainability, Gaurav brings deep domain expertise, strategic foresight, and a track record of building business verticals across India’s clean energy ecosystem.
Before joining Waaree, Gaurav most recently served as Head – Business Development & Marketing, Green Hydrogen at Thermax Limited, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s Green Hydrogen initiatives. His earlier leadership roles include General Manager – Business Development at HYGENCO – The Hydrogen Company, Business Unit Manager – Energy Division at Alfa Laval, and Head of Department – Sales & Business Development at Sulzer India. Gaurav also held key business development positions at Bow Nishi Services Pvt. Ltd. and began his career as Assistant Manager at Essar Oil Limited, contributing to the expansion of the Vadinar refinery, one of India’s largest refining complexes.
In his new role at Waaree Clean Energy Solutions, Gaurav will drive business strategy, sales, and market development in the Green Hydrogen domain, aligning with India’s broader decarbonization goals. His strong technical and commercial acumen, combined with extensive experience across conventional and renewable energy, positions him well to support Waaree’s next phase of growth in the clean energy sector.
