Gautham CB has been appointed as Facility Director at Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, marking a significant homecoming to Fortis Healthcare after eight years. In this role, he will provide comprehensive leadership of the hospital’s business, operations, and strategic direction, driving strategic growth initiatives while further strengthening clinical programs and patient care excellence at the flagship institution of Fortis Healthcare in South India. His appointment underscores the organisation’s continued focus on strong operational leadership and delivering world-class healthcare outcomes.
At Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, Gautham will play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening clinical governance frameworks, and ensuring a seamless patient experience across departments. He will also focus on expanding service offerings, driving performance and productivity metrics, and aligning hospital growth strategies with Fortis Healthcare’s broader vision of delivering advanced, accessible, and patient-centric healthcare solutions.
Gautham brings over 15 years of healthcare leadership experience across multi-specialty hospital networks. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at SPARSH Hospital, Bengaluru, where he played a pivotal role in setting up a new hospital at Hennur and leading large-scale operational functions, performance optimisation, and strategic expansion initiatives. Prior to this, he held a similar leadership role at HealthCare Global, Ahmedabad, further strengthening his expertise in hospital operations, business performance, and healthcare service delivery.
Earlier in his career, Gautham held key leadership positions at Motherhood Hospitals, where he successfully managed multi-location hospital operations and P&L responsibilities across major metropolitan cities in India. His leadership approach has consistently combined operational rigour with strong patient-centric service models, contributing to sustained organisational growth and brand strengthening.
Notably, Gautham began his healthcare journey with Fortis Healthcare in 2012, where he played an important role in leading branding and non-medical operations, building a strong foundation in hospital administration and strategy. His return to Fortis in a senior leadership capacity reflects deep institutional understanding, strong industry credibility, and a proven ability to build high-performing teams and deliver operational excellence at scale.
