Lancy Jivani has been appointed as Marketing Head – Adult Vaccines at GlaxoSmithKline India (GSK), where he is leading the company’s Adult Vaccines business and spearheading the establishment of the adult vaccination category in India. Having spent over two months in the role, he is focused on driving category creation, accelerating growth, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and expanding access to adult immunization across the country.
A seasoned commercial leader, Lancy brings extensive experience across sales, marketing, brand strategy, healthcare marketing, and communications, with a rare distinction of having successfully led both Sales and Marketing functions during his career. His integrated leadership approach enables him to drive market development, deliver impactful product launches, and build sustainable categories in complex healthcare environments.
Prior to joining GSK, Lancy spent six years at Novartis, where he progressed through multiple leadership roles including Head of Sales – Cardiovascular, Launch Lead (Marketing) – Cardiovascular, and Marketing Manager – Cardiovascular. In these roles, he played a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy, executing high-impact launches, and strengthening customer engagement across key therapy areas.
Earlier in his career, Lancy held strategic important roles at Bayer Crop Science, Tata Communications, Roche, and Siemens Healthineers, where he built deep expertise across marketing communications, brand management, corporate communications, experiential marketing, digital campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and strategic brand development.
At Siemens Healthineers, he progressed through multiple roles—from Management Trainee – Corporate Communications to Senior Executive – Marketing Communications (Center of Expertise)—laying a strong foundation in integrated marketing, storytelling, and enterprise communications.
With his strong blend of commercial acumen, cross-functional leadership, and deep healthcare experience spanning pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and technology, Lancy Jivani is well positioned to establish and scale the Adult Vaccines category in India while strengthening awareness and adoption of adult immunization nationwide.
