Madan Kalal has been elevated to the role of Executive Vice President & Head – Agency Health at Tata AIG General Insurance Company, effective April 2025. This elevation reflects his strong leadership journey within the organization and his continued contribution to strengthening the agency health vertical.
With an association of more than 18 years at Tata AIG, Madan has played an integral role in shaping multiple growth initiatives across the company’s distribution and sales networks. In his most recent position as Senior Vice President & NSM – Agency Health, he was instrumental in building a strong agency health distribution channel and scaling business performance across markets. Prior to this, he successfully led as Senior Vice President & NSM – High Opportunity Markets, driving expansion into high-growth regions.
Madan’s deep expertise in sales, business development, and channel partner management has consistently enabled Tata AIG to broaden its customer base and strengthen its presence in the competitive insurance sector. His ability to mentor teams and align business strategies with market opportunities has been a cornerstone of his leadership success.
Before his long tenure with Tata AIG General Insurance, Madan began his professional career with Tata AIG Life and also gained valuable experience at ITC Limited. These early roles gave him a strong foundation in sales and distribution, which he has leveraged effectively in his journey within the general insurance industry.
In his elevated role, Madan Kalal will continue to drive the growth of the Agency Health business, focusing on strengthening distribution partnerships, enhancing customer outreach, and reinforcing Tata AIG’s leadership position in the health insurance segment.
