MSM Unify, a global technology-driven education platform, has appointed Rohit Kumar as Founding Member & President – India Campus Business, marking a strategic move to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly evolving higher education ecosystem. The appointment reflects the company’s focused ambition to deepen institutional engagement and expand its footprint across domestic campuses.
In his new role, Rohit will lead MSM Unify’s India business vertical, with end-to-end responsibility for institutional partnerships, campus engagement strategies, and domestic growth. Working closely with global leadership, he will drive efforts to connect Indian universities and colleges with international academic and career pathways, while building scalable, technology-enabled engagement models aligned with evolving student needs.
Rohit brings over 24 years of cross-industry experience spanning telecom, IT services, and edtech. Most recently, as Co-Founder and COO of CollegeDekho.com, he played a pivotal role in scaling the platform into one of India’s leading student-college discovery ecosystems. Under his leadership, the organization grew into a ₹300 crore enterprise, achieving a 67% CAGR over five years and building partnerships with more than 2,000 institutions. He also led expansion into adjacent segments such as learning, marketing services, and overseas education, while securing funding from prominent global investors.
Earlier in his career, Rohit held senior leadership roles at organizations including Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Sify Technologies, Indiatimes, and Videocon, where he consistently drove revenue growth, operational excellence, and market expansion. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Nagpur.
