Nikhil Vartak has been appointed as Vice President – Automation & Infrastructure at Delhivery, one of India’s leading logistics and supply chain companies. With more than a decade of expertise in automation, robotics, IoT, and Industry 4.0 solutions, he brings extensive experience in building advanced supply chain technologies. His appointment reinforces Delhivery’s commitment to driving innovation and strengthening its technology-led logistics ecosystem.
Before joining Delhivery, Nikhil served at Flipkart for over nine years, where he held key leadership roles including Architect – Automation & Robotics, Senior Manager, and Manager in Automation Design. During his tenure, he led multiple transformative projects such as RFID R&D, advanced sortation systems, vehicle IoT solutions, and large-scale conveyor automation. His contributions were instrumental in shaping Flipkart’s robust, high-speed, and secure supply chain infrastructure.
Earlier in his career, Nikhil headed the Electrical & Electronics Division at Anglo-Eastern Co. Ltd., Hong Kong, where he successfully managed automation projects for merchant vessels, streamlined vendor development, and introduced cost-saving process improvements. With deep expertise in PLC, SCADA, drones, robotics, and unmanned systems, alongside experience in supply chain management, he has consistently delivered impactful technology-driven solutions across industries.
An MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Nikhil is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has been recognized for implementing lean practices and innovative automation frameworks that generated significant efficiency gains and cost savings at a global scale.
At Delhivery, Nikhil will lead the automation and infrastructure strategy, focusing on integrating robotics, IoT, AI, and next-generation material handling systems into operations. His leadership will play a key role in enhancing scalability, efficiency, and intelligence within Delhivery’s logistics networks, supporting the company’s vision of transforming supply chain solutions in India.
