In his new role, Phaneendra will lead key initiatives in product development, policy intervention, process optimization, and OEM relations, with a sharp focus on scaling IndusInd’s retail asset portfolio and driving customer-centric innovation.
Prior to this role, Phaneendra served as Senior Vice President at Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited, a 100% subsidiary of IndusInd Bank, where he played a pivotal role in heading the vehicle financing vertical. Under his leadership, the organization witnessed notable progress in strategic alliances, technology adoption, and streamlined operational practices. His ability to integrate process efficiency with market needs helped strengthen the company’s consumer finance operations across India.
Phaneendra’s professional journey includes impactful stints at ICICI Bank as a Senior Product Manager and at IndusInd Bank as National Product Manager, where he developed and launched industry-aligned policies, created x-sell programs, and successfully managed end-to-end product life cycles. His strategic acumen and deep understanding of the consumer lending ecosystem have also been shaped by leadership roles at HDFC Bank, Citi Financial, and Ashok Leyland Finance.
With academic credentials from IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, and a CAIIB certification, Phaneendra brings not just industry knowledge but also strong analytical and strategic thinking to his role.
