Prachee Kamat has joined Anand Rathi Insurance Brokers Ltd as Vice President – Legal & Compliance, bringing with her close to two decades of expertise in Legal, Regulatory Compliance, and Risk Management within the insurance and financial service sector. In her new role, Prachee will oversee the Company’s Legal Affairs, Corporate Governance, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management functions, ensuring that all business practices adhere to the highest ethical and regulatory standards. Her appointment underscores Anand Rathi’s focus on strengthening its compliance framework and reinforcing a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency across its operations.
Throughout her distinguished career, Prachee has demonstrated excellence as a risk mitigator, compliance professional and solution provider with deep proficiency in business advisory, contract management, corporate governance, compliance including anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, and regulatory framework. Before joining Anand Rathi Insurance Brokers Ltd, she served as Vice President – Secretarial & Compliance at HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company Limited, wherein she lead compliance initiatives across insurance verticals. Her professional journey also includes leadership positions at ICICI Lombard GIC & Ageas Federal LIC (earlier IDBI Federal) wherein she was instrumental in embedding robust compliance and risk management structure across the organization.
Prachee Kamat has also served as an Independent Legal & Compliance Consultant and as Practice Head – Banking, Financial Sector & Insurance at Legasis Services Pvt Ltd, advising leading financial institutions on governance, risk, and compliance strategy.
