Prajesh Kalathil has joined Tata Communications to lead the India Prime Business, marking a significant new chapter in his 25+ year telecommunications career. In his new role, he will focus on driving strategic initiatives, strengthening customer and partner relationships, and accelerating business opportunities across the India market.
Prajesh brings extensive experience in enterprise business, P&L management, sales, distribution, and strategic growth. During his long tenure with Bharti Airtel, he held senior leadership roles including Regional enterprise Business Head, Vice president – Emerging Business, managing large teams and sizeable enterprise portfolios across West & South India
At Airtel, he played a key role in expanding enterprise and emerging business, driving market-share growth, strengthening distribution networks, and building long-term customer relationships. He also led the adoption of digital solutions including cloud, cybersecurity, CPaaS, IoT, SD-WAN and private LTE for enterprise customers.
With his deep understanding of the telecom and enterprise landscape, Prajesh is well positioned to lead Tata Communications’ India Prime Business and contribute to its next phase of growth, customer engagement and market expansion.
