R. P. Gupta has joined Jindal (India) Limited as Executive Vice President Technical & Operations Head for the company’s sheet division. With over 28 years of experience in the downstream steel sector, his appointment is set to bring strong leadership and deep technical insight to the organization.
In his new role, R. P. Gupta will oversee all technical and operational aspects of the sheet division, focusing on technology integration, operational excellence, and building high-performance teams. His vast industry experience includes leadership roles at AMNS India, ACCIL, Olak Roofing Nigeria, Bhushan Steels, Hero Group, ThyssenKrupp Electrical Steels, Lloyd Steels, and Surya Group.
Known for his turnaround expertise, focus on safety, and culture of ownership and innovation, R. P. Gupta has worked extensively across CRCA, Galvanized, Galvalume, and Colour Coated (CCL) products for OEM and appliance grades.
