Rahul Rai has stepped into a pivotal global leadership role as the Global Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – LCL (Less-than-Container Load) at ECU Worldwide, a global leader in multimodal logistics. Based out of the United Arab Emirates, Rahul brings over two decades of extensive cross-functional experience in strategy, business development, program management, and operations across major logistics and IT firms. His appointment marks a significant strategic move for ECU Worldwide as the company reinforces its global commercial thrust in the LCL space.
Prior to taking on the CCO mantle in February 2025, Rahul served as CEO for the Middle East & Africa region at ECU Worldwide, where he delivered strong commercial momentum and regional market expansion. Before that, he was Regional Head – Middle East and Africa, leading business transformation and setting up sustainable revenue pipelines. Rahul is also an active Board Member at ECU Line Saudi Arabia LLC and Managing Director at Elwa Ghana, highlighting his broad-based influence across multiple global markets within the organization.
Rahul’s career spans over 13 years with Allcargo Logistics Ltd, where he held multiple key leadership positions including Business Head/Divisional CEO of the Project Forwarding & Engineering Division and Head of the Program Management Office. His strategic contributions to business planning, financial feasibility evaluation, and restructuring initiatives during his time at Allcargo significantly shaped the company’s project logistics landscape. He also brings early consulting experience from his tenure at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he led strategic planning and corporate finance for the Manufacturing ISU.
Known for his sharp business acumen, customer-centric approach, and passion for building high-performing teams, Rahul is now tasked with spearheading ECU Worldwide’s global LCL business strategy. His appointment comes at a time when the organization is driving deeper digital transformation and integrated supply chain solutions for clients worldwide.
