Rakshith Gowda has rejoined UrbanKisaan as Chief Business Officer, where he will lead the company’s growth strategy and global expansion initiatives across its AgTech business.
Rakshith brings over a decade of experience in digital transformation, brand building, growth, and business leadership. Most recently, he served as Associate Vice President – Digital Assets at Poonawalla Fincorp, leading the company’s digital platform growth, product strategy, user engagement, and analytics initiatives. Prior to that, he was Associate Director – Brand Marketing at Captain Fresh, driving marketing and brand strategy across multiple business verticals.
Notably, Rakshith previously spent over two years at UrbanKisaan as AVP – Brand & Digital Marketing, where he led digital marketing, performance marketing, brand strategy, app growth, and go-to-market initiatives. His return marks a significant step in UrbanKisaan’s growth journey as the company continues to expand its footprint in sustainable agriculture and food technology.
In his new role, Rakshith will focus on scaling the business globally, strengthening commercial operations, and accelerating UrbanKisaan’s mission of transforming agriculture through innovation and technology.
