PwC India has appointed Ribhav Bansal as Director – Information Security & Cybersecurity, where he will also drive Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives. Based in Bengaluru, Ribhav brings deep expertise in cybersecurity, information security, and large-scale transformation programs, positioning him to play a key role in strengthening PwC India’s cybersecurity and digital trust offerings.
With over 15 years of experience, Ribhav has led complex engagements for global and domestic organizations across industries including FMCG, Retail, Consumer, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, IT, and Technology. His ability to deliver outcomes at scale, combined with his strong understanding of evolving security landscapes, has enabled organizations to enhance resilience, strengthen governance, and drive secure digital transformation initiatives.
Prior to joining PwC India, Ribhav spent nearly 13 years at EY, where he progressed through roles including Associate Consultant, Consultant, Senior Consultant, Manager, and Senior Manager. During his tenure, he led several high-impact cybersecurity and
transformation engagements and was recognized with multiple professional awards, reflecting his consistent contribution to client success and organizational growth.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a Software Engineer at Blue Star Infotech and began his professional journey at Sutherland Global Services as a Technical Support Executive. These early roles helped him build a strong foundation in technology, client delivery, and problem-solving, which continue to underpin his leadership approach today.
Ribhav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from the Welingkar Institute of Management, graduating with First Class with Distinction in both programs. He is also certified as an ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, further strengthening his expertise in information security standards and business continuity frameworks.
