Rohit Rao has been elevated to Head – Commercial Business at StrideOne, where he will now lead the Commercial Business vertical of StrideOne Capital, the NBFC and fintech arm of the company. In this strategic role, Rohit will be spearheading business expansion, forging high-impact partnerships, and driving revenue growth for the company. His appointment signals StrideOne’s commitment to deepening its presence in the fintech-driven lending and commercial finance space.
Rohit brings with him over 18 years of extensive experience in Corporate Banking, Supply Chain Finance, and Structured Lending, having held key leadership positions across some of India’s top financial institutions. Before joining StrideOne, he served as Anchor Coverage Head – India, Large Corporate (Supply Chain Finance) at Yubi, where he played a pivotal role in scaling enterprise-level financing solutions for large corporates.
His previous stints also include serving as Senior Vice President – Corporate Coverage at CredAble, where he was instrumental in enhancing corporate banking relationships and structuring innovative credit solutions. Rohit has also worked with renowned global and domestic banks including HSBC Commercial Banking as Vice President, DBS Bank as Senior Relationship Manager, ICICI Bank as Assistant Relationship Manager, and Axis Bank as Deputy Manager – Business Banking. Each role added to his expertise in nurturing key corporate relationships and executing scalable lending strategies.
