Sajal Kumar has been appointed as Associate Director – Content at StoryTV App (By Eloelo Group). In this leadership role, he will work at the intersection of content, marketing, and strategy, driving the growth of StoryTV. Having previously contributed to leading players in the rapidly evolving micro-drama ecosystem, he will now focus on building StoryTV’s content vision and strategy. With over 14 years of professional experience spanning corporate leadership, digital media, storytelling, and entrepreneurship, Sajal brings a unique blend of business acumen and creative expertise to the role.
Prior to joining StoryTV, Sajal served as Content Team Lead at Kuku FM, where he led the development and production of micro-dramas for Kuku TV. He also had a successful tenure at Yuvaa as Content Development Lead, where he played a key role in shaping original content strategies. Alongside his industry roles, he served as a Guest Faculty at FLAME University, sharing his expertise in storytelling and content creation, while also building an accomplished career as a Freelance Screenwriter, earning recognition as a Filmfare-nominated screenwriter with multiple writing credits.
Earlier in his career, Sajal co-founded Khojio and worked as a Faculty Member at IMS Learning Resources Pvt. Ltd. Before transitioning into content and entertainment, he built a strong corporate foundation with Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel Limited, where he grew rapidly from a Management Trainee to a District Sales Manager. Across these organizations, he gained extensive experience in sales leadership, marketing, business development, product management, and customer engagement.
From leading large-scale business operations at leading telecom companies to becoming a recognized screenwriter, educator, entrepreneur, and content leader, Sajal Kumar’s career reflects a rare combination of commercial expertise and creative excellence.
