Saugata Choudhury has been appointed Executive Vice President and Head – Pune Region at YES BANK, bringing over 13 years of experience in corporate banking, relationship management, credit appraisal, and risk assessment. In his new role, he will lead the bank’s Mid Corporate business across the Pune region, focusing on strengthening client relationships, expanding the corporate portfolio, driving business growth, and delivering tailored financial solutions to mid-sized enterprises.
Prior to joining YES BANK, Saugata spent over six years with State Bank of India, most recently serving as Chief Manager – Wholesale Banking, where he managed key corporate banking relationships, complex credit portfolios, strategic lending initiatives, and credit risk management. Earlier, he spent nearly seven years with Federal Bank, progressing through roles including Relationship Manager, Assistant Manager, and Probationary Officer, building strong expertise in corporate banking, credit evaluation, business development, and client relationship management.
His appointment reflects YES BANK’s commitment to strengthening its Mid Corporate Banking leadership with experienced professionals who can deepen customer relationships, accelerate regional business expansion, and support the bank’s long-term growth strategy.
