Shridhar Venkataramana has been appointed as Strategic Partner Manager – Content Partnerships at YouTube, marking an important milestone in his career in media and brand solutions. With over a decade of rich experience across leading global and Indian organizations, Shridhar brings proven expertise in driving strategic partnerships, innovative brand campaigns, and revenue growth in the sports and entertainment industry.

Prior to this appointment, Shridhar served as Senior Director – Cricket Brand Solutions at Viacom18 Media Private Limited, where he spearheaded impactful strategies around marquee cricketing properties. Over his three-year tenure, he successfully collaborated with brands and advertisers to deliver creative campaigns that strengthened Viacom18’s position in the sports entertainment space.

Before Viacom18, Shridhar spent more than six years with Disney Star, contributing across multiple roles in brand solutions and revenue strategy for cricket. At Star Sports, he played a key role in shaping brand-led solutions and pricing strategies for global cricket events such as ICC, BCCI, and ACC tournaments, helping brands maximize engagement and visibility.

Shridhar’s career began with PepsiCo, where he worked as a Management Trainee and later as Area Sales Manager – Power of One. These early experiences in sales and customer engagement gave him a strong business foundation, which he later expanded in the media and entertainment sector.

In his new role at YouTube, Shridhar will be responsible for strengthening partnerships with content creators, media stakeholders, and brands while driving innovative strategies to further grow YouTube’s content ecosystem in India. His blend of expertise in sales, brand partnerships, and media strategy uniquely positions him to make a significant impact at YouTube.
