Earlier, he held several senior leadership roles at Stellantis, overseeing purchasing strategies for EV and ICE powertrain components across the India and Asia-Pacific regions. From battery modules and traction motors to reduction gear modules and transmission parts, Singaravelu played a key role in shaping the global sourcing framework for Stellantis’ electrification initiatives. He also led supply base development, localization programs, and new model sourcing efforts, positioning India as a strategic export hub.

His foundational experience includes pivotal roles at Groupe PSA, Ford Motor Company, and Ola, where he was instrumental in launching new platforms, establishing cost governance models, and executing global RFQs with regional supplier ecosystems. At Groupe PSA, he led direct materials purchasing across a range of critical commodities—chassis, lighting, HVAC systems, and powertrain components—supporting global programs for brands like Citroën and Jeep.

In his new capacity at Montra Electric, Singaravelu is expected to anchor a sustainable, scalable supply strategy to support India’s growing demand for EVs. With a strong focus on technology partnerships, cost performance, and localization, his leadership marks a critical step forward as Montra powers ahead in building a future-ready mobility ecosystem.
