Sivaraman K has been promoted to Senior General Manager and Head – Banking Operations Group at The South Indian Bank Limited, effective April 1, 2025. With a remarkable banking career spanning over two decades, he has demonstrated exceptional expertise in branch banking, credit, and banking operations. His strategic leadership has played a crucial role in centralizing various banking processes, improving efficiency across the organization.
Sivaraman K began his journey with The South Indian Bank Limited in 1996 as a Scale I officer. Over the years, he has successfully led major branches such as Surat and Karol Bagh, New Delhi, as well as key regions like Chennai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad. His extensive experience also includes heading the Mid Corporate Credit Processing Centre, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic banking professional.
Since 2021, he has served as the Head of the Banking Operations Group, overseeing critical banking functions, including forex, CTS, RTGS/NEFT/NACH, centralized liability and asset account opening, cash and ATM management, branch operations, and reconciliation. Leading a team of approximately 800 professionals, he has been instrumental in streamlining banking operations and ensuring seamless service delivery.
With his promotion to Senior General Manager, Sivaraman K will now be part of the senior management personnel of The South Indian Bank Limited. His extensive qualifications, including a B.Sc, B.Ed, JAIIB, and CAIIB, combined with his vast leadership experience, make him a valuable asset to the bank as it continues its commitment to operational excellence and customer-centric banking.
