L&T Valves has announced the appointment of Venkatesh S as its new Chief Executive, marking a significant milestone in the company’s leadership journey. With a rich and diverse experience spanning over three decades in the valves industry, Venkatesh brings a strategic vision and global acumen to the helm of L&T Valves, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of isolation valves for critical industries.
Prior to this elevation in July 2025, Venkatesh held the role of Vice President – Global Sales at L&T Valves, where he led worldwide sales and business development activities. His efforts played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s global footprint and strengthening its position across key markets. From May 2022 to December 2024, he also served as the Global Head of Sales, showcasing a consistent track record of driving growth, building customer relationships, and navigating complex international markets.
Before rejoining L&T Valves, Venkatesh spent several years with AE Valves, Belgium and Emerson Process Management in Greater Kuala Lumpur, where he led business development and sales functions for the Asia Pacific region. As Sales Director – Asia Pacific & India at AE Valves and later as Director – Business Development (Asia Pacific), he played a central role in introducing cryogenic and severe service valve solutions to new geographies and industries, further establishing his reputation as a global sales leader.
Venkatesh’s journey with L&T Valves began as early as 1993 with Audco India Limited, and over the years, he has held critical roles including DGM – International Sales in Shanghai and Jt. General Manager – Business Development for the Asia Pacific region in Kuala Lumpur. His appointment as Chief Executive reflects L&T Valves’ continued focus on leveraging experienced leadership to drive innovation, customer-centricity, and global expansion.
