Vipul Bhatia has been elevated to Deputy Director – Enterprise & Strategic Partnerships at Freecharge, marking a significant milestone in his career within the digital payments and partnerships ecosystem. In his new role, he will lead strategic partnerships with a focus on PA & TSP collaborations while managing large enterprise accounts, further strengthening Freecharge’s position in the payments and fintech landscape.
He previously served as Associate Director, where he drove enterprise merchant growth, banking alliances, and key product initiatives. Prior to Freecharge, Vipul worked with Paytm, where he handled PAN India sales for payout solutions and API-led payment products. He also gained experience at Gupshup, managing partnerships across India and APAC for communication APIs and chatbot solutions. Earlier, he was associated with MakeMyTrip, managing regional P&L, hotel partnerships, and territory growth across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Across his career, Vipul has built strong expertise in enterprise partnerships, fintech solutions, API integrations, and strategic account management. In his elevated role at Freecharge, he is set to drive deeper enterprise engagement, strengthen partnership ecosystems, and lead high-impact initiatives in the evolving digital payments space.
