Vishal Bhardwaj has been appointed as the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Shree Cement Ltd. In his new role, he will be leading CSR initiatives and contributing to the company’s sustainability and community development strategies from the Greater Delhi Area.
Bhardwaj brings close to three decades of extensive experience in the CSR and ESG domain. Prior to joining Shree Cement, he worked as a freelance CSR & ESG Strategist and held key leadership roles at Indorama Corporation, Dalmia Bharat Limited, and Sun Pharma, among others. His work has spanned across India and the Middle East, offering him a global perspective on sustainable development.
At Dalmia Bharat, he served as Group Head and Deputy Executive Director, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s long-term CSR and ESG roadmap. He has also been associated with prominent organizations like Reliance Cement, Ambuja Cement Foundation, and CAPART, holding progressive roles in the development sector.
With academic credentials that include a specialization in ESG from the Swedish Institute of Management and a diploma in CSR Leadership, Bhardwaj is recognized for his strategic approach to sustainability and corporate citizenship. His appointment is expected to strengthen Shree Cement’s ongoing commitment to creating positive social and environmental impact.
