Vivek Bimbrahw has joined the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) as Consulting Head – Stakeholder Relations at its headquarters in Delhi. In this leadership role, he will focus on strengthening stakeholder engagement, building institutional partnerships, and enhancing collaborative frameworks that support NCAER’s work in economic research, policy advisory, and data-driven insights. His appointment reflects NCAER’s continued emphasis on deepening engagement with government, industry, and global institutions.
With almost three decades of experience across banking, financial services, and large-scale institutional business, Vivek brings deep expertise in government relations, strategic alliances, and enterprise sales leadership. Prior to joining NCAER, he served as Senior Vice President 2 & Group Head – Government Business at Axis Bank, where he
led large-scale government banking relationships and built a strong institutional liability portfolio across ministries and state governments.
Before Axis Bank, Vivek held leadership positions at HDFC Life as Vice President – Strategic Alliances and at ICICI Securities as National Sales Head, where he drove large distribution networks, revenue growth, and multi-channel business expansion. His career also includes key leadership roles at Indiabulls Housing Finance, ICICI Bank, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Reliance Industries Limited, Hero MotoCorp Ltd, and Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., where he consistently delivered strong business outcomes across sales, distribution, and market expansion initiatives.
Alongside his corporate leadership journey, Vivek is actively engaged as an Industry Expert with global research and advisory platforms including GLG, AlphaSights, Third Bridge Group, Dialectica, Tegus, Insight Alpha, Coleman Research, Uzabase, Arches, and Infollion Research Services Limited. This combination of institutional leadership and global advisory exposure positions him strongly to contribute to NCAER’s mission of advancing evidence-based economic research and stakeholder collaboration.
