Ramakrishnan V joins Sentient – An Ascend company as Director – Client Accounting Services, effective March 30, 2026. In this role, he will focus on strengthening client accounting services, driving operational excellence, and enabling scalable growth across global client engagements of Ascend Partner Firms. His appointment comes at a time when organizations are increasingly prioritizing efficiency and transformation in finance operations.
Ramakrishnan V brings extensive leadership experience across CPA firms, Client Accounting Advisory Services (CAAS), and Global Capability Centers (GCCs). Prior to this, he held key leadership roles at CohnReznick, where he collaborated closely with Partners and multiple stakeholders to enhance client accounting services and scale global delivery capabilities. His contributions played a pivotal role in strengthening operational frameworks and expanding service efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Ramakrishnan V built a strong foundation through his work with globally recognized organizations such as McKinsey & Company, DXC Technology, and Hewlett-Packard. Across these roles, he led multiple accounting and payroll transitions, managing complex deliverables and stakeholder relationships across geographies. His experience reflects a consistent ability to drive transformation in large-scale finance operations.
Ramakrishnan V has also been instrumental in building and scaling finance and accounting GCCs, establishing robust governance models, and enabling technology- and AI-led delivery. His expertise in GCC strategy, client service leadership, and value-driven operating models aligns strongly with Sentient Ascend’s vision for innovation and growth.
