Retesh Mathur appointed as Head – Service and Parts at Montra Electric Truck

Retesh Mathur has been appointed as Head – Service and Parts at Montra Electric Truck, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished automotive and commercial vehicle leadership journey. His appointment underscores the company’s focus on strengthening its national after-sales ecosystem as it scales its presence in the electric commercial vehicle segment.

In this role, Retesh is leading service operations across PAN India while also being responsible for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), development of structured AMC frameworks, and driving recurring service revenue models. He is actively spearheading the development of training centres nationwide to build technical capability, enhance workforce readiness, and standardize service excellence across the network. Additionally, he oversees technical support functions, ensuring rapid issue resolution, strong field diagnostics, and seamless customer assistance across geographies.

At Montra Electric Truck, he is focused on building robust service infrastructure, strengthening parts distribution networks, and establishing advanced technical and training centres to support long-term scalability. His mandate includes enhancing after-sales efficiency, improving turnaround times, and creating a customer-centric service model aligned with EV innovation.

Prior to this appointment, Retesh held multiple leadership roles at Eicher Trucks and Buses, including Business Head (Sales, Service & Parts) and National Service Head (Non-Auto Business – Gensets, Industrial & Marine Engines, Power Train). He also managed a large Company-Owned Company-Operated dealership for Commercial Vehicles, leading sales, service, and parts operations with a 150+ member team and delivering a strong monthly business portfolio.

With over 25 years of experience across Tata Motors, Saud Bahwan Group, Eicher, and now Montra Electric Truck, Retesh brings deep expertise in P&L management, workshop operations, service transformation, and large-scale team leadership. His appointment is expected to significantly strengthen Montra Electric Truck’s national service backbone and support its long-term growth in India’s evolving EV commercial vehicle ecosystem.
