Priyam Alok has been elevated to the position of Deputy Managing Director at Saraswat Bank, marking a significant step in his distinguished career in the Indian banking sector. He joined the bank in March 2024 as Chief Business Officer, where he led the Consumer and Commercial Banking Group with a sharp focus on transforming and scaling the bank’s asset product portfolio.
Prior to Saraswat Bank, Priyam played a foundational role at AU Small Finance Bank, where he served as Executive President. His strategic contributions at AU spanned across Working Capital Finance and SME lending, where he built the book from scratch. He also led the Bank Project during AU’s transformation from an NBFC to a bank.
His earlier tenures with Kotak Mahindra Bank, ING Vysya Bank, and Citibank allowed him to build extensive expertise across both retail liabilities and asset businesses. From leading large teams across geographies to managing P&L responsibilities, Priyam consistently demonstrated strong leadership in expanding business footprints and enhancing customer propositions in both urban and rural markets.
With over two decades of diverse experience across leading institutions like Citi, ING, Kotak, and AU Small Finance Bank, Priyam is known for building businesses from the ground up, driving sustainable growth, and executing large-scale change management initiatives.
