Srijith Nair has been appointed as Director – Human Capital at SAL, Saudi Arabian Airlines
Group. In this strategic role, Srijith will lead the “Build from Within” succession strategy, drive
executive development aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, and champion future-skilling
initiatives to embed AI-readiness across the organization. His appointment reflects SAL’s commitment
to fostering internal leadership pipelines and aligning talent development with national priorities.
A doctoral researcher in AI for Human Resources at ESGCI, France, Srijith brings a forward
thinking approach to talent transformation, blending academic expertise with practical experience in
AI-driven HR innovation. With over 26 years of HR leadership experience, he has delivered high
impact talent and leadership programs across banking, NBFC, retail, and aviation sectors, with key
roles at Aditya Birla Group, Landmark Group, and Dubai Islamic Bank in the Middle East and
India.
Previously, Srijith served as Head of Corporate HR, Talent, Leadership Development,
Engagement & Culture at Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd., where he shaped the organization’s talent
philosophy and performance enablement strategies. His earlier roles include significant contributions
at Bharti Axa Life Insurance, Max New York Life, SriLankan Airlines and Jet Airways , focusing on
learning, distribution HR, and people development.
Srijith holds a Postgraduate in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from the Texas
McCombs School of Business, an MBA in Human Resources, and a Master’s in Applied
Psychology. He is a certified performance coach, brain-based coach, happiness coach, and
practitioner of psychometric tools, including Hogan, MBTI, and Predictive Index. Additionally, he is a
Certified Talent Development & Succession Management Practitioner from the Tata Institute of
Social Sciences and a recognized thought leader in AI and HR leadership, serving as visiting faculty
in Universities across GCC & Europe. He is also recognized by Korn Ferry for his expertise in
Spotting Leadership Talent.
