As the current CEO – Digital at JioStar, he leads digital operations across JioCinema, Hotstar, and Cricinfo. Known for scaling multi-billion-dollar businesses and transforming digital platforms, he is a veteran in driving strategy, scale, and sustainable impact in media, retail, and technology sectors. His leadership is expected to influence digital policy and collaborative frameworks for content creators, tech innovators, and platforms alike.
Prior to JioStar, Kiran held several top executive roles at Google, including General Manager for Android and Google Play across Asia Pacific & Japan, and Managing Director of Global Partnerships. His influence shaped product utility, developer ecosystems, and ad revenue streams across diverse global markets. He also played a pivotal role in the formation of India’s largest media platform through the merger of Viacom18 and Star India.
