Ankur Bhandari has been appointed as the Head of Finance at Magenta Mobility, marking a strategic leadership move for the company as it continues to scale its operations in the sustainable mobility space. A seasoned Chartered Accountant, Ankur brings close to two decades of comprehensive experience in finance and accounts, with a strong focus on business partnering, compliance, financial transformation, and CAPEX project management across both manufacturing and service industries.
Before joining Magenta Mobility, Ankur served as Finance Head – Freight Forwarding Business at DP World, where he led critical functions such as budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, and EBITDA improvement analysis. His previous roles at Mahindra Logistics and VRS Foods Limited further reflect his strength in managing end-to-end financial operations, driving cost efficiencies, and leading post-merger finance transformations. At Mahindra Logistics’ subsidiary LORDS, he was instrumental in overseeing strategic planning, compliance, and the implementation of IT-led finance systems.
Ankur’s career has been shaped by leadership stints at BASF India, Texmo Pipes and Products, and Airen Saluja & Hablani Chartered Accountants, where he contributed significantly to process optimization, commercial finance, taxation, and international financial reporting. He has demonstrated expertise in aligning financial functions with long-term business goals, while successfully managing audits, financial controls, and treasury operations under frameworks like IGAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
In his new role at Magenta Mobility, Ankur will be responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, enhancing operational governance, and supporting its growth initiatives through robust financial planning and analysis.
