Alap Ghosh Appointed as the first-ever Chief Executive Officer of india Assembly, a global omnichannel media agency. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for the company’s India operations, as it deepens its commitment to one of the world’s fastest-growing digital markets. With over 25 years of experience in building high-growth digital businesses and driving strategic transformations, Alap brings a proven track record of leadership in digital media, marketing, product innovation, and business development across global markets.

Alap joins Assembly following a three-year tenure at Google, where he served as Head of Data and Technology Partnerships. There, he was instrumental in transforming digital marketing practices for Google’s top 150 clients in India, spearheading technology adoption strategies, privacy frameworks, and integrated Ads-Cloud martech initiatives. His cross-functional leadership supported the development of future-ready technology practices for both brands and agencies. Prior to Google, Alap was the Managing Director for Jellyfish India, playing a pivotal role in scaling the agency’s operations and digital maturity offerings in partnership with the Google Marketing Platform.

Alap’s leadership journey includes executive roles at companies such as MarketsandMarkets™, Syntropic Systems, Madhouse (a WPP company), and Komli Media, where he championed business transformation through data, performance marketing, and platform innovation. His early career spans positions in product strategy, mobile advertising, and digital transformation across Mobango, Domain Advertising, and Enpocket India. He has also held teaching roles at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, nurturing the next generation of digital strategists in areas like programmatic advertising and technology-driven marketing.

In his new role at Assembly India, Alap will focus on accelerating the agency’s expansion, unlocking new revenue streams, and delivering performance-led omnichannel marketing solutions to Indian and global clients. With his extensive experience across OTT, programmatic, mobile, data analytics, and digital media strategy, Alap is well positioned to drive Assembly’s mission to deliver breakthrough brand performance through technology and innovation in the Indian market.
