Sareen Penta has been appointed as Head – Data Center Advisory & Transactions, India at Cushman & Wakefield, bringing with him extensive expertise in data center strategy, AI infrastructure, and corporate business development. In this leadership role, he will drive advisory and transaction services in India’s dynamic data center market, strengthening Cushman & Wakefield’s position as a trusted partner in delivering sustainable, large-scale digital infrastructure solutions.
Prior to this appointment, Sareen played a pivotal role at AdaniConneX for over five years as Head – BD, Strategy & Partnerships. As part of the core launch team, he was instrumental in shaping Adani Group’s foray into the data center sector by building a network of Green Hyperscale Data Centers across India. His work spanned strategic planning, partnership development, commercial negotiations, and multi-billion-dollar opportunity evaluations, with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.
Earlier, Sareen held senior roles at Adani Group in corporate business development, scouting and assessing high-value growth projects across diverse sectors. His career journey also includes impactful tenures at Amazon, Honeywell, and HCL Technologies, where he developed capabilities in technology management, cloud transformation, strategic consulting, and client engagement. His breadth of experience across business and technology domains has positioned him as a leader adept at navigating complex, fast-evolving markets.
In his new capacity at Cushman & Wakefield, Sareen is set to leverage his strategic vision and market expertise to address the surging demand for data center infrastructure in India.
