Vikrant Nagpal has been elevated to Senior Vice President & Lead – Digital and Strategic Projects at SBI Card, marking another milestone in his distinguished career in sales leadership, business strategy, and innovation within the BFSI sector. In this expanded role, Vikrant will be driving transformative digital initiatives, overseeing strategic projects, and advancing customer-centric growth by leveraging advanced analytics, end-to-end digitization, and innovative sourcing models to strengthen SBI Card’s market leadership.

Prior to this elevation in August 2025, Vikrant served as Head – Banca Sales at SBI Card, where he significantly accelerated the company’s digital adoption, increasing card issuance through online channels from 2% to over 70%. Leading a network of more than 10,000 outsourced professionals alongside a core team of 150+ leaders, he championed operational excellence, cross-functional innovation, and the unlocking of new customer segments, contributing to sustained business growth and efficiency.

Earlier, as Vice President – Data Analytics & Digital Initiatives at SBI Card, Vikrant played a crucial role in launching the pre-approved model for the Banca channel, integrating seamlessly with YONO and Internet Banking platforms, and devising data-driven strategies to capture untapped opportunities. His execution of large-scale digitization projects has been instrumental in enhancing customer onboarding experiences and optimizing business processes across the organization.

Over the years, Vikrant has built a versatile career with leadership roles at Edelweiss Financial Services, Origa Lease Finance, DHFL, Indian Health Organization by Aetna, GE-SBI Card, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, The Indian Express, and CMIE. Known for blending operational precision with strategic vision, he has consistently delivered measurable results, nurtured high-performing teams, and forged enduring partnerships. In his elevated capacity, Vikrant is set to further advance SBI Card’s digital transformation journey and solidify its position as a leader in customer-focused financial services.
