Before joining Shashwat Hospitals, Ajay served as Associate Vice President at Shalby Limited, where he was responsible for P&L management across multiple orthopedic hospital units with annual revenues of ₹30–40 crore. He successfully led a team of over 180 professionals, spearheaded market expansion strategies in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, strengthened doctor engagement programs, and executed ROI-driven marketing campaigns that boosted both patient footfall and brand equity. His ability to align clinical excellence with business sustainability made him a key driver of Shalby’s growth journey.
Ajay has also held senior leadership roles at BeatO, Redcliffe Labs, Indira IVF Group, and Dr Lal PathLabs, where he shaped innovative go-to-market strategies, built strong franchise and channel networks, and implemented patient-centric business models. Notably, at BeatO, he launched partnered clinics and offline patient channels, directly acquiring 25,000+ customers and significantly expanding access to affordable diabetes care. His earlier career with global healthcare leaders like Abbott and Sun Pharma laid a strong foundation in sales, operations, and people management.
