Gagan Agarwal has taken on the role of National Head – Commercial Excellence at Shree Cement Ltd., marking a significant milestone in his long and distinguished career across finance, commercial operations, and supply chain management. In this leadership position, he will be responsible for strengthening commercial excellence frameworks, driving process optimization, and supporting strategic business outcomes across the organization.
With over two decades of experience in the cement and infrastructure ecosystem, Gagan brings deep domain expertise to his new role. Prior to joining Shree Cement, he held senior leadership positions at UltraTech Cement, where he served as Joint President (F&C) and earlier as Vice President (F&C). During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in overseeing finance and commercial operations, legal compliance, procurement, and supply chain management, contributing to operational efficiency and robust governance across regions.
Earlier in his career, Gagan worked with Reliance Logistics Ltd. as Regional Commercial Head and with Aditya Birla Management Corporation as Manager – Corporate Audit, where he built a strong foundation in audits, controls, and enterprise-level commercial practices. His professional journey began at SMIFS, where he served as Assistant Manager, gaining early exposure to financial and operational disciplines.
