Wasim Soudagar has taken on the role of AVP – Product Lead, Credit Card Portfolio at IDFC FIRST Bank, marking a significant transition into product leadership within the banking ecosystem. In this role, he is responsible for driving the growth and performance of the credit card portfolio, leveraging his deep understanding of operations, service delivery, and customer lifecycle management to build scalable and customer-centric product strategies.
With over two decades of experience across BPO, operations management, and business transformation, Wasim brings a strong execution-oriented mindset to his new position. Prior to joining IDFC FIRST Bank, he served as Senior Vice President – Business Head (Transition), PAN India at ICCS, where he led large-scale transitions, managed nationwide operations, and drove service delivery transformations using technology and change management frameworks.
Before ICCS, Wasim spent more than eight years at EOSGlobe, progressing through leadership roles including Senior Vice President, Vice President, Associate Vice President, and Deputy General Manager. During this period, he managed large, multilingual contact center operations, optimized performance metrics, and built high-performing teams across functions. His career progression reflects strong expertise in forecasting, operational excellence, employee engagement, and client management.
Earlier roles at Andromeda BPO, Reliable Business Solutions, and Global Direct Communications helped him build a solid foundation in quality, retention, operations, and business development. Known for managing large spans of control and delivering efficiency at scale, Wasim’s blend of operational depth and strategic thinking positions him well to create meaningful impact in IDFC FIRST Bank’s credit card product journey.
