Pankaj Aggarwal has taken on the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Kalpa Power Private Limited, bringing with him over two decades of deep expertise in finance leadership across large, complex, and global businesses. Based in Pune, Pankaj steps into this role with a strong track record of driving financial discipline, growth enablement, and strategic transformation.
A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, Pankaj has most recently served as Senior Vice President – Finance at Kalpataru Projects International Limited, where he led finance strategy for large-scale infrastructure and power projects. Prior to this, he spent 15 years at Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), rising to the position of CFO – Global Services, where he managed finance operations across India and the UK, led teams of 30+, and supported international expansion initiatives.
Across his career, Pankaj has built strong credentials in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, large-scale project modeling, M&A due diligence, post-merger integration, banking and working capital management, risk management, forex and hedging, cost control, systems, audits, and indirect taxation. His experience spans telecom, power transmission, global services, and infrastructure businesses, making him well-positioned to support Kalpa Power’s growth ambitions.
In his new role as CFO, Pankaj is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening financial governance, enabling strategic investments, and supporting Kalpa Power’s long-term vision with a sharp focus on profitability, scalability, and risk management.
