Shivaji Manwadkar (CISA) has been appointed as the Chief Security Officer (CSO) at SBFC Finance Limited, taking charge of the organization’s enterprise-wide IT, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance initiatives. In this strategic role, Shivaji will lead the development and execution of robust, future-ready IT and security frameworks, ensuring business resilience, regulatory compliance, and secure technology adoption.
With extensive experience in IT and security leadership across financial services and technology sectors, Shivaji has been instrumental in transitioning organizations to modern, scalable IT architectures, implementing secure DevOps and CI/CD practices, and driving automation through RPA and GenAI initiatives. He has also spearheaded ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701 (PIMS) certifications, strengthening both security and privacy maturity across enterprises.
At SBFC Finance, Shivaji oversees IT governance, vendor management, annual IT budgeting, and risk assessments, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and ensuring full adherence to frameworks such as NHB, RBI, UIDAI, IRDA, ISO, and ITGC. His leadership also includes critical cybersecurity readiness programs, including red team exercises, dark web monitoring, and tabletop crisis simulations.
Shivaji brings a strong foundation of technical and managerial experience from previous roles at HDFC Bank, Saksoft, and Impact Infotech, where he managed IT operations, technical solutions, and security frameworks. His appointment reinforces SBFC Finance’s commitment to cyber resilience, operational excellence, and technology-driven business transformation.
