Abbott has appointed Subhadip Misra as Country Manager – India for Abbott Transfusion Medicine, strengthening its leadership presence in the country. In this role, Subhadip will lead the transfusion medicine business with end-to-end P&L responsibility, driving strategy execution and strengthening organizational capabilities across India.
He will focus on building high-performing teams, fostering a people-first culture, and delivering sustainable growth with a strong emphasis on patient impact, operational excellence, and reliable transfusion solutions that support India’s healthcare ecosystem.
Prior to joining Abbott, Subhadip spent over four and a half years at Roche Diagnostics, most recently serving as National Lead – Business Transformation, where he led strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration to drive long-term value creation.
With over 17 years of leadership experience across the MedTech and Diagnostics sectors, including roles at Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, and Roche Diagnostics, Subhadip will report into Abbott’s APAC leadership and collaborate closely with India and global teams to scale innovation, expand access to advanced transfusion solutions, and strengthen Abbott’s footprint in India.
