COl Shekhar Attri, SM (Retd) has been appointed as APAC Regional Security Leader at Collins Aerospace, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career in security leadership and strategic operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading and managing comprehensive security operations across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring the protection of employees, assets, operations, and corporate reputation through robust and globally aligned security strategies.
At Collins Aerospace, COl Shekhar Attri, SM (Retd) will provide strategic direction by evaluating regional risks and implementing effective security frameworks tailored to diverse operational environments. His responsibilities include leadership and oversight of multiple corporate security disciplines such as physical security, incident response, risk management, compliance, and business continuity. He will also play a crucial role in strengthening organizational resilience and safeguarding business operations across countries and cultures within the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Collins Aerospace, COl Shekhar Attri, SM (Retd) served as Head of India Security Services at Pratt & Whitney, where he led security initiatives and enhanced operational safeguards across critical functions. He also held the position of Senior Director (Colonel), Special Forces, along with several other leadership roles at the Indian Army. His extensive experience in defense operations, strategic security management, and organizational leadership has equipped him with a strong foundation in handling complex security challenges.
COl Shekhar Attri, SM (Retd) holds a Master’s degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from University of Madras and is currently pursuing a PhD in Exploiting AI in Crisis Management. He is also the author of Gen Z & The Corporate Reboot. With significant expertise in security operations and risk management, his appointment is expected to strengthen Collins Aerospace’s regional security framework and support the organization’s continued focus on operational excellence and global security standards.
