Praveen Sharma has been appointed as Vice President (Spinning) at Arvind Ltd, where he will be responsible for overseeing the Spinning P&L and strengthening the company’s yarn manufacturing operations. With 28 years of experience in the textile and yarn spinning industry, Sharma brings deep expertise in managing large-scale production environments, operational efficiency, and strategic process improvements.
Praveen Sharma has built a distinguished career spanning 28 years since beginning his professional journey in 1998 in various streams of yarn spinning, gaining hands-on experience across production management, plant operations, and performance optimization. In his new role at Arvind Ltd, he is expected to play a key role in enhancing operational capabilities and supporting the company’s broader growth strategy in the textile manufacturing segment.
Before joining Arvind Ltd, Praveen Sharma held leadership roles at Aditya Birla Yarn, where he served as Unit Head at PT Indo Liberty Textiles, the largest spinning unit of Aditya Birla Yarn. In this role, he contributed significantly to cost optimization and also played a key role in sales and marketing, heading product development, customer technical services, and customer centricity initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Praveen Sharma worked with RSWM Limited as Assistant General Manager (Spinning) and also gained valuable experience at Indorama Synthetics, further strengthening his expertise in yarn spinning and industrial production processes.
With his extensive experience across leading textile organizations and deep understanding of spinning operations, Praveen Sharma is expected to contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and operational excellence of Arvind Ltd in the highly competitive textile sector.
