Bishwajit RoyGupta has been appointed Country Head at ScitechQ.ai, where he will lead the Canada-based organization’s operations and strategic expansion in India and the broader APAC region. In this role, RoyGupta will focus on establishing the company’s presence in the region while driving advanced AI product design, development, and deployment across sectors including telecommunications, healthcare, and wellness.
With more than 26 years of experience in telecom and IT services, RoyGupta brings extensive leadership expertise in service delivery, network operations, and digital transformation. At ScitechQ.ai, he will be responsible for building AI-driven technology solutions, expanding professional services capabilities, and enabling scalable operations for enterprise clients across emerging technology ecosystems.
Before joining ScitechQ.ai, RoyGupta held senior leadership roles at Indus Towers Limited, where he served as Vice President and Head – Customer Operations, leading nationwide service delivery, assurance, and network operations. Earlier, as General Manager and National TOC Head, he directed the National Tower Operations Center, overseeing operations across 22 telecom circles and managing large multi-layered teams while implementing predictive analytics and real-time operational systems.
Earlier in his career, RoyGupta held key roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as Project Director and Regional Delivery Manager, where he managed large-scale telecom infrastructure projects and operations. His professional journey also includes leadership and operational roles at Reflexis Systems, IonIdea, IBM, Microsoft (via Convergys), Impex Infotech, and CMC Ltd, building deep expertise in enterprise technology operations, customer service management, and large-scale program delivery.
