Salesh Sharma has been appointed as Head of Sales & Operations at Cambi India Pvt. Ltd., bringing with him over three decades of global experience in the water and wastewater industry. With 32 years of expertise, he is widely recognized for driving business growth, leading large-scale EPC project acquisitions, and shaping market entry strategies across India as well as international markets.
Over the course of his career, Salesh Sharma has successfully secured more than $350 million in new business, working extensively across municipal and industrial water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, desalination systems, and zero liquid discharge solutions. Known for his strategic vision, he has consistently built high-impact partnerships, structured joint ventures, engaged with government bodies and funding agencies, and led complex techno-commercial negotiations across regions.
Prior to joining Cambi India Pvt. Ltd., Salesh Sharma held senior leadership roles across leading organizations in the sector. At Toshiba Water Solutions, he served as Chief Business Officer and secured over $150 million in new business while establishing new verticals to diversify the company’s portfolio. His earlier experience includes leadership roles at VA Tech Wabag, where he led marketing and business development for large EPC projects, and as Country Director at Cadagua Ferrovial India, where he played a pivotal role in executing landmark projects such as the Hogenakkal Water Treatment Plant and major STPs in Amritsar and Guwahati.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Degrémont (SUEZ Group) and Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd., building a strong foundation in end-to-end sales cycles, project execution, tendering, and water treatment technologies. His contributions span across Asia, Africa, and Europe, where he has led initiatives from opportunity identification to contract closure while mentoring cross-functional teams.

Ltd., leveraging his deep technical and commercial expertise to drive sustainable growth and advance water infrastructure solutions.
