Lalit Kolhe has been appointed as General Manager at Friction Welding Technologies Pvt. Ltd., marking a key leadership addition as the company continues to strengthen its operational and growth capabilities. In his new role, he will oversee overall business operations, drive strategic growth initiatives, and ensure profitability while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
With over two decades of experience across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations, Lalit brings a well-rounded leadership profile. He is known for his ability to align cross-functional teams, streamline processes, and deliver consistent business outcomes in dynamic industrial environments.
Prior to this, Lalit Kolhe spent over 13 years at Foseco India Ltd., where he most recently served as Manager – S&OP and Planning (Operations and Supply Chain). In this role, he led pan-India sales and operations planning, improved OTIF performance significantly, enhanced forecast accuracy, and successfully managed large-scale transformation initiatives involving cross-functional teams.
Earlier in his career, he held key roles at Warade Automation Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Sulzer India Ltd., and Finepac Structures Pvt. Ltd., where he built deep expertise in project management, lean manufacturing, SAP implementation, and quality systems. His strong foundation in Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies has consistently driven efficiency and cost optimization.
In his new role, Lalit Kolhe is expected to play a pivotal role in scaling operations and strengthening Friction Welding Technologies’ market position.
