Amit Katiyar has been appointed as Chief Manager – Engineering Head at BCH Electric Limited, where he will lead manufacturing engineering and drive key engineering leadership initiatives. In this role, he will focus on strengthening production efficiency, enhancing operational excellence, and advancing lean manufacturing practices, while leveraging his expertise in SAP MRP, production planning, and process optimization.
Prior to this, he spent over a decade with Havells India Ltd, where he progressed through multiple leadership roles including Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Senior Manager, Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, and Senior Engineer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving manufacturing excellence, implementing lean methodologies, and contributing to process improvements across production systems.
Earlier in his career, he was associated with Standard Electricals Limited – Havells Group, where he worked as Senior Engineer, Engineer, and Graduate Engineering Trainee. In these roles, he built a strong technical foundation in SAP Production Planning and gained hands-on experience in core manufacturing operations and systems.
