Sanjeev Kumar serves as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Unique Engineers Limited (UEL), bringing over 30 years of rich and diverse experience across Human Resources, Administration, Industrial Relations, Business Planning, and Market Intelligence. In his current role, he leads Human Resources, Administration, Communications, and CSR functions, playing a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s people strategy, strengthening culture, and driving transformation initiatives. Over the years, he has successfully led ISO certifications, built high-performing teams across India and international markets including Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Tanzania, and championed digital transformation, inclusion & diversity, and organizational change.
Prior to this, he served as Head HR, Administration and Industrial Relations at JWIL Infra Limited (Jindal Group), where he led strategic HR initiatives and organizational
development. Earlier, he was associated with Unique Engineers Private Limited as HOD (HR & Administration), driving end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee engagement, along with strengthening retention and organizational effectiveness. He also held the role of Head (HR & Administration) at Continental Construction Projects Limited, contributing to HR leadership and operational excellence.
Sanjeev Kumar began his career with the Indian Air Force as an Administrative Officer, where he spent over 15 years managing manpower planning, recruitment, statutory compliance, training, performance evaluation, and employee relations. This early experience laid a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, and large-scale people management across complex environments.
An MBA and Master of Business Law, he has also completed advanced leadership training from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Delhi. He has represented organizations at global platforms such as the World Economic Forum – India Summit and Global Inclusion & Diversity seminars. With his extensive experience and strategic vision, Sanjeev Kumar continues to drive impactful HR leadership and organizational growth at Unique Engineers Limited.
