Siva Sekhar has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Popular Motor Ventures, marking a significant leadership addition as the company strengthens its focus on building scalable and future-ready mobility businesses. In his new role, he will lead key initiatives around operational excellence, customer-centric transformation, business expansion, and innovation across the evolving mobility ecosystem.
With extensive experience spanning mobility, EVs, retail, business growth, and operational leadership, Siva Sekhar brings a strong track record of scaling businesses, driving market expansion, and building high-performance teams. At PMV – Popular Motor Ventures, he will focus on strengthening the company’s position through technology-led transformation, process excellence, strategic partnerships, and next-generation mobility initiatives.
Prior to joining PMV, Siva Sekhar served as Director – Growth at Ninjacart and earlier held leadership roles at Numeros Motors as Senior General Manager, where he led dealer and distributor network expansion, drove sales growth, and spearheaded the company’s B2C market expansion initiatives. He also played a pivotal role at Greaves Electric Mobility, leading the establishment of the three-wheeler network and handling multiple strategic projects for the business.
Earlier in his career, he spent over five years at Bounce Infinity as Director – EV, where he worked extensively on operational scaling, market expansion, GTM strategies, and profitable business growth across multiple cities. His professional journey also includes
leadership roles at Ninjacart, CRISIL Limited, Indiamart Intermesh Limited, Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance, Red FM, and Magma Fincorp, giving him diverse experience across mobility, fintech, retail, media, and business development ecosystems.
Siva Sekhar’s appointment comes at a time when Popular Motor Ventures is accelerating its growth ambitions in the mobility sector. With his deep expertise in operations management, strategic scaling, customer experience, and business transformation, he is expected to play a crucial role in driving the company’s next phase of expansion and innovation.
