Amit Dalal has been appointed as Head – Global Logistics at Synergy Marine Group, bringing with him more than 25 years of leadership experience across the global logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, and supply chain industry. In this strategic leadership role, he will lead the company’s end-to-end global logistics function across international markets, driving logistics strategy, carrier partnerships, network optimization, cost efficiencies, and service excellence to support Synergy Marine Group’s continued growth ambitions.
Amit is widely recognized as a seasoned logistics leader with a proven track record of building businesses, leading high-performance teams, managing complex customer portfolios, and delivering sustainable commercial growth. Prior to joining Synergy Marine Group, he served at Rhenus Logistics, where he held leadership positions as Regional Director – West India and Regional Director – South India, carrying full P&L
responsibility and driving business growth across key markets. Earlier, he served as Vice President – Business Development at iInterchange Systems Private Limited, further strengthening his expertise in business expansion, customer acquisition, and strategic growth initiatives.
Before that, Amit held senior leadership roles at DB Schenker as DGM Sales – West India, where he led sales and customer service operations across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa while managing a large commercial team. He also served with Damco (Maersk Logistics) as Assistant General Manager – Trade Lane Americas, overseeing business across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. During his extensive tenure at DHL Global Forwarding, he held multiple leadership positions including Trade Lane Manager India – Americas, Area Sales Manager, Country Global Account Manager, National Customer Manager – Retail, Textile & Apparels, and Territory Manager, building deep expertise across international freight, trade lanes, global account management, and strategic customer development.
Earlier in his career, Amit worked with Agility as Senior Sales Executive, where he developed a strong foundation in logistics operations, customer engagement, and business development. Throughout his professional journey across Synergy Marine Group, Rhenus Logistics, iInterchange Systems Private Limited, DB Schenker, Damco (Maersk Logistics), DHL Global Forwarding, and Agility, he has consistently demonstrated excellence in logistics management, supply chain strategy, commercial leadership, profitability improvement, and customer-centric growth. His appointment reflects Synergy Marine Group’s commitment to strengthening its global logistics capabilities under experienced leadership.
