Tajinder Singh Nanhra has been appointed as Head – Government Enterprise Team at Orient Bell Limited. Based at the company’s Delhi headquarters, he will be responsible for driving the growth of the government business in the ceramic and vitrified tiles segment while building and mentoring a high-performing team focused on business development, institutional sales, and contract business opportunities.
With more than 30 years of experience in government business development across India, Tajinder has built a strong reputation for driving business generation, key account management, and consistent value-volume growth through government contractors and institutional channels. His expertise spans building materials including ceramic and vitrified tiles, wood panels, vitreous sanitaryware, and faucets. Throughout his career, he has successfully nurtured relationships with government institutions, PSUs, NBCC, CPWD, PWD, MES, Railways, and other civic bodies while leading large-scale institutional sales initiatives.
Prior to joining Orient Bell Limited, Tajinder served in Institutional Sales & QUEO Retail at Hindware Limited and earlier as DGM – Institutional Sales at NITCO Limited. He also held the position of AGM Sales at SUNHEARRT CERAMIK, where he contributed to business expansion and market development initiatives across key regions.
Earlier in his career, Tajinder served as Vertical Head – North and Senior Manager at H & R Johnson (India), a division of Prism Cement Limited. He also spent nearly nine years with Orient Bell in leadership roles including Senior Manager Sales and Assistant Manager – Sales, building deep expertise in the ceramics industry and institutional sales ecosystem. Before entering the building materials sector, he served as Deputy Branch Manager – North at Bhutan Board Exports Limited.
Tajinder’s appointment reflects Orient Bell Limited’s focus on strengthening its government and institutional business portfolio. His extensive experience in specification selling, tender management, institutional project sales, and stakeholder engagement is expected to support the company’s growth strategy while expanding its presence across government and infrastructure projects.
