Prashant Janadri has been appointed as Director and CBO at Activatr, a distribution intelligence and retail execution platform being developed under PPMS Group to help FMCG, D2C, and consumer brands accelerate offline expansion through technology-enabled distribution, retail execution, and real-time retail intelligence. In this leadership role, Prashant will help drive Activatr’s vision of transforming offline distribution through a unified Distribution-as-a-Service platform that connects brands with distributor networks, sales execution capabilities, retail analytics, inventory visibility, and demand generation solutions. His appointment comes as PPMS Group continues to strengthen its ecosystem for enabling consumer brands to scale offline operations with greater speed, visibility, and execution excellence.
Activatr is designed to address one of the most significant challenges facing consumer brands today, fragmented offline distribution and retail execution systems. Through its technology-led platform, Activatr aims to integrate distributor management, sales force automation, merchandising execution, retail audits, demand generation, and warehouse-to-shelf intelligence into a single ecosystem. Supported by PPMS Group’s extensive retail infrastructure spanning more than 170,000 retail locations and 1.5 million monthly store visits across India, the platform offers structured Launch, Growth, and Scale plans tailored to brands at different stages of their offline expansion journey.
Prashant brings extensive entrepreneurial, technology, and business-building experience to this role. Prior to joining Activatr, he served as Co-Founder & CEO of Taskmo, one of India’s leading gig workforce platforms, which was subsequently acquired by Quess Corp. Under his leadership, Taskmo built a network of over 35,000 gig workers, executed millions of on-ground tasks, expanded across thousands of pin codes, and achieved significant business growth. Earlier, he co-founded FeedMyPockets, a technology-enabled on-demand staffing platform that evolved into Taskmo, helping hundreds of businesses address workforce and operational challenges across multiple sectors.
In addition to his entrepreneurial journey, Prashant has been actively engaged as a Startup Advisor & Growth Partner, working closely with founders and early-stage ventures across retail-tech, B2B SaaS, food-tech, HR-tech, and consumer businesses. He has supported companies on go-to-market strategy, product-market fit validation, business unit incubation, growth acceleration, and market expansion initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Product Engineer at Wipro, gaining valuable experience in enterprise technology solutions, product strategy, and cross-functional execution. With deep expertise spanning workforce platforms, retail execution, distribution ecosystems, technology-led business models, and growth acceleration, Prashant is well-positioned to help Activatr shape the future of offline distribution and retail intelligence for consumer brands.
